Though I pursued a culinary apprenticeship in Appenzell and later thrived in bartending, my love for angling never faded. Yet, amid the routine, a deeper quest began.
Where Passion Meets Purpose
After earning a hotel management degree in 2015, a life-changing 2017 summer in Canada as a Lodge Assistant Manager at a fishing retreat solidified my calling. Returning to Switzerland, doubts crept in—was hospitality truly my path?
Answering Nature’s Call
The 2020 lockdown became a blessing, granting me time to fully embrace fly fishing. I realized I didn’t just want to fish—I wanted to teach, to connect, and to craft unforgettable moments in the wild. Thus, FLYTASTIC was born: a platform sharing my expertise and stories, free for all.
